Transgender Day of Visibility - Reclaiming Our Joy

This empowering event is designed to uplift and amplify the voices of the transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse community. Our theme, "Reclaiming Our Joy," serves as a reminder that despite the challenges we face, the blatant hatred being written into laws, and the violence that our siblings and youth suffer, our very existence is resistance and we will not allow our humanity to be erased.  

Here's what you can expect: 

- Indulge in a delicious catered lunch with vegan options available. 

- Explore our community organizations and allied businesses resource fair. 

- Be inspired by community leaders who will share their stories and insights. 

- Groove to the rhythm of live music that celebrates our diversity and resilience. 

- Engage in fun games and activities for all ages, because joy is essential to our journey.  

This family-friendly event welcomes everyone who stands with the transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse community. ASL interpretation will be provided, and we encourage anyone who requires additional accommodations to reach out at least 2 weeks prior to the event.  Let's come together to share the weight of the world and uplift each other in a space of joy and solidarity.
